Sam Oommen, who has been working at New York University since 2002, has served as the Department of Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation’s Director of Membership Services since June 2014.
In his current role, Oommen oversees the operation of both the 404 Fitness and Palladium Athletic Facility (PAF) Membership offices, as well as the full-time membership staff. He handles membership matters, financial reporting, cashiering and financial systems support, disbursement of funds, process improvements, and patron concerns.
Previously, Oommen served as PAF Membership Office Supervisor from 2006-14, Assistant Bursar Representative from 2003-06 and as Customer Service Representative in the Bursar Student Service Center from 2002-03.
A 2001 graduate of Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication with a concentration in advertising, Oommen is a native of Yonkers, NY, and resides in White Plains, NY, with his wife Suzanne and their children.
