Ron Moreno began serving as an assistant coach of New York University’s men’s and women’s tennis teams in September 2025.
A 1996 NYU graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, Moreno was a two-year member of the Violets’ tennis team.
In addition to his current position, Moreno also works as a coach at the Prospect Park Tennis Center in Brooklyn and as an instructor for Liahan Tennis in Manhattan.
Prior to joining NYU, Moreno served three years (2022-25) as the coach of the boy’s and girl’s tennis teams at Columbia Prep High School in Manhattan and as a tennis instructor at Columbia Prep Elementary School.
Moreno also served several years as an instructor within NYU Recreation.
A native of Queens, NY, Moreno resides in Brooklyn.
