NYU Athletics

Patrick Ortiz joined the New York University staff as an athletic performance coach in September 2026. 

A 2024 graduate of Lehman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, Ortiz served as an Strength and Conditioning Intern at Fordham University from January-May 2024. 

Ortiz went on to earn a master’s degree from St. John’s University and worked as a Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach. He oversaw training for the men’s lacrosse and women’s track & field programs. 

 A native of the Bronx, NY, Ortiz resides in Yonkers, NY.
