Morgan Church

Morgan Church joined New York University as a part-time athletic trainer in January 2025 and was hired in a full-time capacity in September 2025. She primarily works with NYU’s men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams.
 
Prior to joining NYU, Church served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Performance at Elms College. In addition to serving as the Head Athletic Trainer, Church also oversaw Strength and Conditioning. This included programming and weight room oversight for the college’s 15 NCAA-sponsored athletic teams.
 
Church completed her undergraduate studies at Lasell University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2018. During that time, she gained experience at all levels ranging from high school to Division 1 athletics, including a stint with the Harvard University women’s soccer team during the 2016 season.
 
Granted certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) in May 2018 and earning her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in October of 2020, Church is a member of both the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
 
A New Hampshire native, Church resides in Brooklyn, NY.
