Mark Cannady Weatherup began working as the Facility Operations Supervisor - John A. Paulson Center in July 2024. Prior to his current position, Cannady Weatherup served the New York University Athletics Department in several other capacities including as a student weight room attendant from 2008-12, an Equipment Room and Retail Sales Assistant from 2013-2024, and as a Public Address Announcer for numerous varsity events.
In his current role, Cannady Weatherup is responsible for maintaining daily operations, managing student employment, and assisting in organizing athletic events.
Cannady Weatherup is a 2012 graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting, and is still a working actor who has appeared in national commercials, voiced audiobooks, and is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.
In 2023, Cannady Weatherup was honored with the inaugural NYU Athletics Senior Class Award from the graduating varsity student-athletes. He had previously received the NYU Student Affairs Hallmark Award in 2022.
A native of North Syracuse, NY, Cannady Weatherup resides in Brooklyn, NY, with his wife Amber.
