Lynsey Duverglas began working as an Administrative Aide in the Recreation Office of New York University’s Department of Athletics in June 2023.
In this position, Duverglas performs a wide range of clerical and general administrative duties, assisting with coordination of, preparation of onboarding paperwork of club sport coaches, procurement, equipment inventory, and team travel for all aspects of club sports, intramural and recreation programming.
Duverglas was originally hired as the Special Assistant to the Senior Staff for NYU's Department of Athletics through the McLendon Foundation Minority Leadership Initiative in August 2022. She mainly assisted in NYU’s Business Office and handles special projects as assigned.
Prior to becoming a McLendon Fellow, Duverglas obtained her Master of Science in Sports Business from NYU in 2022. During her time as an NYU student, Duverglas was a Mile Band Manager for the 2021 TCS New York City Marathon and a Production Assistant and Teaching Artist for Liberate Artists, a dance and performing arts organization.
In 2020, Duverglas earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Dance from The Pennsylvania State University, where she was on the Lionettes Dance Team, performing at sporting and community events. Duverglas was also on the Operations Committee for Penn State THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world.
Duverglas is a native and resident of West Orange, NJ.
