Kieran Cantwell joined New York University Athletics as an Assistant Communications Manager in August 2026.
In his role, Cantwell oversees the broadcasting and statistical operations of all NYU Athletics home events, as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations of the communications department.
Prior to joining NYU, Cantwell served as the Director of Athletic Communications at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA, for two years. Before that, he worked as a Production Assistant for NBCUniversal’s Access Hollywood / E! News in Universal City, CA.
A 2023 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Television, and Theatre, Cantwell served as a team manager for the men’s basketball team and as the Station Manager for NDTV.
A native of West Hills, CA, Cantwell resides in Jersey City, NJ.
