Elizabeth Miller

Elizabeth Miller was appointed as the Assistant to the Director of Athletics at New York University in September 2002.  
 
Prior to her promotion, Miller served as an administrative secretary in NYU’s Department of Athletics, Intramurals and Recreation. She was responsible for various advertising and graphic design projects for the department.
 
In addition to her current role, Miller continues to serve as the General Manager/Assistant Coach of NYU’s men’s ice hockey team, a position she has held since 1997.
 
A 1996 graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and pre-medicine, Miller competed in epee as a member of the Violets’ fencing team from 1993-96. During her undergraduate career, Miller was named a Sokol Scholar in Chemistry and received the NYU Presidential Service Award for her volunteerism and community service in her role as an ice hockey team manager from 1992-96.
 
An honors graduate of the South Carolina Governor’s School for Mathematics and Science, Miller resides in Brooklyn, NY.
