Dr. Dennis A. Cardone has served as the Head Team Physician for New York University Athletics since 2008. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Langone Health.
Dr. Cardone is on the medical team for the US Open Tennis Tournament and the New Jersey Devils hockey team. He is the Chief Medical Officer for athletics for the New York City Public Schools (PSAL) and is Co-Director of the NYU Langone Concussion Center.
Serving on numerous sports medicine advisory panels and a frequently invited speaker at national sports medicine conferences, Dr. Cardone has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed sports medicine and orthopedic journals.
Dr. Cardone has also served as the team physician for USA Wrestling and USA Fencing, and currently hosts the weekly Sports Medicine Orthopedics show on SiriusXM channel 119.
