Brian Dominguez joined New York University as an Athletic Performance Coach in August 2026 with an extensive background in sports performance and strength and conditioning.
A two-year member of the St. Thomas Aquinas College varsity track team, Dominguez graduated from Adelphi University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He received his master’s in Exercise and Sport Science the following year from Merrimack College.
While earning his master’s, Dominguez also served as a graduate fellow in strength and conditioning, working with Boston College’s strength and conditioning staff to implement speed, agility, flexibility and strength into several of their Division I programs including men’s and women’s ice hockey, soccer, field hockey, volleyball, and cross country.
Prior to Boston College, Dominguez worked as a sports performance coach from 2022-25, training those ranging from elementary school students to professional athletes.
A New York City native, Dominguez is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
