Benny Bautista began serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the New York University wrestling team in September 2025.
A 2025 NYU graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance, Bautista was a four-year member of the Violets’ wrestling team. He served as captain during his senior season and posted a 57-19 overall career record, wrestling at both 125 and 133.
Bautista finished fifth at the NCAA DIII Regionals in 2024 wrestling at 125.
After graduation, Bautista worked as a commercial real estate analyst intern for the Eden Wood Realty Company.
From 2020-23, Bautista worked as a private wrestling and strength trainer.
Bautista is a native and resident of Montvale, NJ.
