Kristin Keegan

Kristin Keegan is in her first season as an assistant coach of the New York University women’s volleyball team. Her responsibilities include assisting in all facets of the program.

Keegan brings a plethora of coaching experience to the Violets’ staff from the high school, collegiate and club levels. 

“Kristin is a welcome addition to the staff. She is an excellent communicator and strong technician, which will assist in advancing the overall skills of the players,” said Head Coach Jolie Ward. “She has the additional strengths of sound game analysis and tactical awareness, which will significantly improve our match play.”

Keegan’s most recent position was with the Central Jersey Volleyball Academy in Flemington, NJ, where she served as the Head Coach of the 15-2’s team during the 2015-16 season. She also spent time on the coaching staff at Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights, NJ, where she served as the Head Coach of the junior varsity squad and Assistant Coach of the varsity squad.

At the collegiate level, Keegan served as a student assistant coach at her alma mater, the University of Scranton, during the 2014-15 season.

At the club level, Keegan was an assistant coach of the Readington Rebels travel volleyball team for their 2008-09 campaign.

A 2015 Scranton graduate, Keegan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education citizenship, and history. A two-year member of the Lady Royals’ volleyball team, the former middle blocker played in 62 matches and totaled 141 kills, 45 service aces, 80 digs, and 72 blocks.

A native of Flemington, Keegan resides in Hoboken, NJ.
