Christopher Sandoli joined New York University as an assistant coach of the men’s and women’s track & field teams prior to the 2019-20 season. His primary responsibility is working with the team’s pole vaulters.
 
In his first season, at NYU, helped guide junior pole vaulter Madi Richardson to a second-place finish at the TCNJ Indoor Invitational. On the men’s side, Juan Ochoa reached a season-best height of 3.75m at the Armory Last Chance Meet under Sandoli’s tutelage.
 
Prior to coming to NYU, Sandoli worked as an assistant coach at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2017-19. During his time with the program, Sandoli produced multiple conference champions in the pole vault on both the men’s and women’s sides.
 
Sandoli earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems/business analytics from Manhattan College in 2017. He was a four-year member of the Jaspers’ track & field team, serving as a captain during the 2016 season. Sandoli was a two-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team honoree.
 
Sandoli went on to earn a master's degree from Stevens in systems information management in 2018.
 
A native of Old Bridge, NJ, Sandoli resides in Hoboken, NJ.
