2008-09: Named UAA Women’s Swimmer of the Year…won the 200 IM (meet-record 2:07.63) and the 200 backstroke (2:03.86) at the UAA Championships (2/11-14)…Second Team All-UAA in the 200 medley relay (1:47.22) and Third Team All-UAA in the 400 freestyle relay (3:32.38)…UAA Athlete of the Week (2/16)…finished 22nd in the 200 backstroke (2:06.29) at the NCAA Championships (3/17-3/20)…set NYU records in the 200 freestyle (1:54.96), the 200 back (2:03.86), the 200 IM (2:07.63), the 200 medley relay (1:47.22), the 400 freestyle relay (3:32.38), and the 800 freestyle relay (7:45.05)…CSCAA Scholar All-American. 2007-08: Third Team All-UAA in the 200 medley relay (1:49.16, 2/20-23)…ECAC champion (11/30-12/2) in the 200 back (2:08.87) and 200 IM (2:13.27), and contributed to NYU’s ECAC record-setting 800 freestyle relay (7:55.07)…posted Violets’ top times of the season in the 50 back (28.48), 200 back and 400 IM (2:11.40) at ECAC’s…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree. 2006-07: Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 200 back with her 2:08.55 performance at the UAA Championships (2/8-10)…earned Second Team All-UAA honors in the 400 medley relay (4:03.11)…garnered Third Team All-UAA accolades in the 100 back (1:00.53), 200 back (2:08.55) and 200 medley relay (1:51.27)…captured the ECAC 200 back title (2:10.72, 12/1-3). High School: Three-year team member…served as captain her senior year…earned All-Section honors as a sophomore, junior and senior…All-State honoree as a junior and senior…also competed for the Gaels Swim Club…volunteered with S.T.A.N.D. and Midnight Run…member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Minoring in studio art…does volunteer work for the Greater New York Hospital Association and for God’s Love We Deliver…enjoys writing, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and attending concerts.
