Biography
2017-18: Earned All-America (seventh-place – 100-yard backstroke) and Honorable Mention (9th-place – 400-yard medley relay) recognitions at the NCAA Championships (3/21-24)…finished third in the 400-yard medley relay and 200-yard medley relay, and recorded the team’s fastest 100-yard back time of the season (55.78) at the UAA Championships (2/14-17)…swam NYU’s fastest 50-yard back of the season (26.13) at the MIT Winter Invitational (12/1-3)…won the 100-yard back (58.21) against West Chester (1/20) and helped the 200-yard IM medley relay finish first (1:51.00) against Bridgeport (1/27)…IAAC Fall and Spring Honor Rolls…UAA Winter All-Academic…ECAC Academic Honor Roll…CSCAA Scholar All-American.inson
2016-17: Finished 25th in the 100-yard backstroke at the NCAA Championships (3/15-18)…swam personal-best times in the 50-yard backstroke (25.86), 100-yard backstroke (56.26) and 100-yard butterfly (57.81) at the MIT Invitational (12/2-4)…recorded six victories in the 100-yard backstroke and two in the 50-yard backstroke…placed sixth in the 100-yard backstroke (56.96) at the UAA Championships (2/8-11)…Second Team All-UAA (400-yard medley relay)…Second Team All-UAA (200-yard medley relay).
2015-16: Earned All-America honors in the 200-yard medley relay (fifth, 1:43.24) and 400-yard medley relay (eighth, 3:49.70), and also swam a season best in the 50-yard back (26.24) at the NCAA Championships (3/16-19)…finished third in the 100-yard back (56.49) and recorded a season best in the 100-yard back (56.49) at the UAA Championships (2/17-20)…made collegiate debut as a member of NYU’s 200-yard medley relay (1:47.40) vs. Cortland (10/10)…notched a season best in the 200-yard butterfly (2:12.66) vs. NJCU (11/14), the 100-yard butterfly (58.07) at the MIT Invitational (12/4-6) and in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:04.03) vs. Vassar (11/21).
High School: Four-year team member…Hyack Girls Aggregate winner…SCM 100 Backstroke Provincial Champion in 2014…French Public Speaking District Champion.
Personal: Minoring in chemistry and French…volunteered with Free the Children…enjoys singing…chose NYU for the “coach and its great academic programs”…aspires to attend medical school and become a dermatologist.
