Biography
2008-09: Played in three games as a reserve before suffering a season-ending injury…scored a season-high eight points in just four minutes against FDU-Florham (11/21)…recorded career highs in minutes played (19), assists (4) and rebounds (3) while scoring six points at New Jersey City (11/18)…also grabbed three boards at Mount St. Mary (11/15). 2007-08: Appeared in 10 games as a reserve after transferring from Division I High Point University, where she did not play, prior to the spring semester…established season highs of 16 minutes played, nine points, two rebounds, and two steals vs. Rochester (2/17)…tallied five points and hit her first three-pointer as a Violet at Chicago (2/22). 2006-07: Transferred to High Point after spending the fall semester at Division II St. Michael’s College…did not play basketball at either school. 2005-06: Appeared in 23 games for St. Michael’s, all as a non-starter, averaging 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per game…scored a season-best nine points in a season-high-tying 13 minutes vs. LeMoyne (1/2)…helped team tie a school single-season record with 17 wins. High School: Played four sports at Noble…led the basketball team in scoring in each of her final three seasons, including a 17 ppg average as a senior…played in the 2005 Maine McDonald’s Senior All-Star Game…named First Team Southern Maine Athletic Association (SMAA) her senior year…two-time SMAA All-Star…helped the softball team reach the 2003 Class A championship game…two-time All-SMAA selection in field hockey…also competed in track & field for two years and was a SMAA All-Star as a senior. Academics: Psychology major in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS)…minoring in nursing…member of Psi Chi, the Psychology Honors Society…received SCPS and McGhee academic scholarships from NYU. Personal: Enjoys coaching at summer basketball camps…volunteered as an assistant activities director at a nursing home…plans to attend MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston to study psychiatric nursing before pursuing her Master’s in nursing anesthesia.
