Victoria Zatko

Victoria Zatko began serving as an assistant coach of the New York University softball team in January 2025. Her primary responsibilities include coaching the Violets' catchers and supporting player development.

In her first season, the Violets posted a 10-28 record which included victories over University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents Brandeis University and Carnegie Mellon University.

Zatko helped produce a pair of Second Team All-UAA players in 2025, as both Alyssa Quary and Naya Schubel earned the designations. A total of 11 players were named UAA Spring All-Academic, while Nicole Cicchetti, Olivia de Hesselle, Marina Egbert, and Karleigh Kleuver were cited as Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Before joining NYU, Zatko coached for the Brooklyn Red Devils and Howell Heat softball programs, conducting skill-focused training and guiding players on recruitment strategies.
A 2024 graduate of Long Island University-Brooklyn with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Wellness, Zatko is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at NYU.

Zatko was a three-year team member of LIU’s NCAA Division I softball team. A catcher who played in 58 career games, she was a member of the Sharks’ 2023 Northeast Conference Championship team.

Prior to LIU, Zatko spent her first two collegiate seasons playing at La Salle University.

A standout at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark, NJ, Zatko was a three-time First Team All-County selection. She also played volleyball and basketball.

Zatlo is a native and resident of Clark.
