Sophomores Diana King and Claire Stefanelli were named First Team All-UAA, while junior Sage Schweiller received Second Team honors. Stefanelli led the squad in batting average (.370), while King led the team in hits (44), runs (43), home runs (8), and total bases (79).

NYU players also fared well in the circle. Sophomore Cassi Parulis set a single-season program record with a 2.29 ERA, while also recording five wins. Freshman Scarlett Murphy set a program-record by only giving up 13 walks on the season. Additionally, sophomore Karissa Zubulake led the squad with six wins.

The Violets excelled in the classroom as well, as 11 players earned UAA Spring Sport All-Academic honors and 12 were named to the Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee (IAAC) Spring Honor Roll.

Foye came to NYU after a three-year tenure as Head Coach of the Felician University softball team. In 2015, he led the Golden Falcons to their winningest season (14-12) in the CACC (Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) and coached the first All-Region player in Felician's history.

Foye also accumulated collegiate coaching experience during stints as assistant coach at Montclair State University (2012-13) and at Seton Hall University (2011-12), and as Head Coach at College of St. Elizabeth from 1997-2001. Additionally, Foye brings 15 years of club head coaching experience and is currently the Co-Head Coach of The Heist 18U Elite Travel Team.

A 1995 graduate of Seton Hall with a Bachelor of Science degree in education, Foye also earned a master's degree in athletic administration and coaching from Concordia University Irvine in 2013.
