Alyssa See

Alyssa See is in her third season as an assistant coach of the New York University softball team. She mainly assists with the outfielders and slap hitters.

In 2018, See helped lead the Violets to a 21-20 record including five wins in University Athletic Association (UAA) play. She also helped guide the Violets to the ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) Division III Championship semifinals for the second consecutive season. Junior outfielder Diana King earned First Team All-UAA honors while four other members of the squad earned Second Team accolades. King additionally was named CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 as well as National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Northeast Region.
 
In See’s first season at NYU, the Violets went 19-19 overall and also posted five UAA victories. King and Claire Stefanelli were named First Team All-UAA, while Sage Schweiller received Second Team honors. Stefanelli led the squad in batting average (.370), while King led the team in hits (44), runs (43), home runs (8), and total bases (79).
 
A 2012 graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, See was a four-year starter on the Patriots’ Division I softball squad. A three-time captain, she was a First Team All-Rookie selection and three-time Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) member.

See went on to earn an additional degree in nursing from NYU in 2015, where she also served three seasons as Head Coach of the Violets’ club softball team.

Currently also working as a Registered Nurse at Northwell Health-LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY, See is a native of Ashland, OH, and resides in Manhattan
