NYU Athletics

2009-10: Finished 10th in the one-meter dive (312.25) and 11th in the three-meter event (264.20) at the UAA Championships (2/17-20)…posted season highs in the one-meter (209.25) and three-meter (193.35) dives vs. TCNJ (1/23). 2008-09: Finished sixth in the three-meter dive (283.55) and 10th in the one-meter dive (275.90) at the UAA Championships (2/12-14)…placed fourth in both the three-meter dive (164.00) and the one-meter dive (156.15) at the MIT Invitational (12/6)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree. 2007-08: Attended NYU, but was not a team member. High School: Member of the baseball team for four years (Vorhees did not have a swimming & diving team)…also a member of the technical crew for his high school theater group and served as drum major of the marching band…earned the Science Ethics Award…member of the National Honor Society. Personal: Minoring in chemistry…enjoys skiing, writing and reading…also competes for NYU’s Ultimate Frisbee team…former Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America…aspires to write books.
