2014-15: Played in and started the first six games of the season before being sidelined by an injury…recorded two multi-hit games (2/14 vs. Oglethorpe, 3/9 vs. Brandeis)…made his collegiate debut vs. Oglethorpe, walking three times, stealing two bases, scoring a run, and recording a RBI (2/13).
 
Pre-NYU: Attended Chandler-Gilbert Community College in fall 2014…was not a member of the baseball team.
 
High School: Four-year team member…served as captain as a senior…Under Armour Pre-Season All-American and Perfect Game All-Western US Second Team as a pitcher during his senior year…Arizona Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and East-Valley Tribune All-Arizona Division I Second Team selection at third base as a senior…participated in the Division I All-Star Game as a senior…volunteered with American Indian Services (2006-12) and in Honduras as part of the LDS Mission (2013-14)…served as an assistant baseball coach at Highland Junior High School in spring 2014.

Personal: Enjoys volunteering with youth groups…chose NYU for the “academic excellence, and the chance to play on the inaugural baseball team for Coach Kimbler”…great-grandfather, Les Pocock, managed the Logan Collegians in the minor leagues in the 1920s…aspires to play Major league Baseball…plans to be a commercial pilot and a business owner.
