Biography

2013-14: Earned All-America honors with her eighth-place finish in the 100 fly (56.30) after setting a team record (56.02) in her preliminary heat at the NCAA Championships (3/19-22)…also earned Honorable Mention All-America as a member of the Violets’ 12th-place 200 medley relay (team-record 1:45.19) and 16th-place 200 free relay (1:37.33 finals, team-record 1:36.37 preliminary)…also participated on the Violets’ record-breaking 400 free relay (3:31.64) at the meet…NYU Female Junior Scholar Athlete of the Year…broke the NYU 100 back record (56.60) and was a member of the Violets’ record-setting 400 medley relay (3:53.42) at the UAA Championships (2/14-15)…won the 100 back (1:00.22), the 100 fly (1:00.39) and participated on the winning 200 medley relay (1:50.48) vs. SUNY Cortland (10/12)…UAA Athlete of the Week (10/14)…won the 100 back (1:00.31), member of the winning 200 medley relay (1:50.34) and placed second in the 100 fly (58.87) at the Rochester Invitational (10/25-26)…won the 100 back (1:00.75), 100 butterfly (1:00.04) and 200 back (2:12.73) vs. TCNJ (11/16)…member of the winning 400 free relay (3:34.05) and 200 free relay (1:36.71), and won the 200 back (2:06.79), 100 back (57.05) and 100 fly (56.83) at the ECAC Championships (12/6-8)… won the 50 back (27.94) vs. Wagner (1/17)…CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 First Team Women’s At-Large…CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team Women’s At-Large…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic...Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Rolls…CSCAA Scholar All-American.
 
2012-13: Had 12 first-place finishes while swimming seven different events…helped set then-NYU-records for the 200 medley relay (1:46.47) and 200 free relay (1:37.08), and led off the 400 medley relay (3:55.83) with a then-school-record (56.92) in the 100 back at the UAA Championships (2/14-16)…won the 50 free (24.93), 100 free (53.98) and 100 fly (1:00.46) vs. SUNY Cortland (10/20)…swept all four races against TCNJ (11/17), winning the 200 medley relay (1:51.50), 100 back (1:00.26), 100 free (54.43), and 100 fly (59.19)…member of the Violets’ second-place 200 medley relay (1:48.55) at the ECAC Championships (11/30-12/2)…UAA Athlete of the Week (1/28)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall Honor Roll…CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention.
 
2011-12: Won the 100 free (56.13) vs. Vassar (1/28)…posted season-best times in the 100 fly (59.00), 100 free (54.16) and 200 free (1:57.39) at the UAA Championships (2/15-18), and in the 50 free (26.17) at the MIT Invitational (12/2-3)…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Rolls.
 
High School: Four-year team member…established the school record in the 100 fly…recipient of the Parkway Swim Club Senior Recognition Award, the Parkway Swim Club Star Award , the Parkway Central High Girl's Team Most Valuable Swimmer Award, and the RISD Art Award…member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.
 
Personal: Recipient of a Tisch Scholarship…enjoys reading…works with New York Cares…plans to attend graduate school.
