Biography

2013-14: Compiled a 17-9 record while competing exclusively at 184 pounds…tied for most falls (5) and technical falls (3) on the team…All-UAA…placed second at the Ithaca Invitational (11/8)…finished fifth at the NCAA East Regional Championships (3/2)…three-time UAA Athlete of the Week (11/11, 11/18, 2/10)…Centennial Conference Weekly Honor Roll (11/11, 2/10)…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Spring Honor Roll.
 
2012-13: Amassed a 26-9 record, posting the second-highest win total and the second-best winning percentage (.740) on the team…went 23-8 at 184 and 3-1 at 174…qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships (3/15-16) and fell just one win short of earning All-America status at 184…NCAA East Region Championship 184-Pound Runner-Up (3/2)…All-UAA at 184…earned second-place finishes at the Ted Reese Invitational, his only competition at 174 (21/1), and at the Citrus Invitational (12/29-30)…third-place finisher at the Centennial Conference Championships (2/23) and at the Will Abele Invitational (1/12)…led the team with nine falls…recorded three major decisions and one tech fall.
 
2011-12: Compiled a 20-12 overall record wrestling in two weight classes (17-12 at 174 and 3-0 at 184)…posted the second-highest win total of any of the team’s freshmen…finished third on the team with six falls and recorded two tech falls…placed second in the 174-pound weight class at the Ted Reese Invitational (12/3).
 
High School: Four-year team member…served as captain his senior year…helped lead his team to the 2009 state championship…state individual champion (171) as a sophomore and individual runner-up (171) as a junior and senior…volunteered with Easter Seals, NAMI and his local church…HSAA Award recipient.
 
Personal: Enjoys hanging out with friends, working out, going out to eat, and reading…aspires to work in the field of nutrition.
