2012-13: Set the NYU record and achieved a NCAA “B” cut in the 200 back (1:52.84) at the UAA Championships (2/13-16)…also reached a NCAA “B” cut in the 100 back (season-best 52.13) at that meet…began the season with wins in the 100 back (55.29), 200 back (2:01.19) and 200 medley relay (1:39.66) vs. SUNY Cortland (10/20)…also helped the Violets to wins in the 200 medley relay vs. Springfield (1:40.31) on 1/12 and vs. Vassar (1:39.84) on 1/26…notched individual victories in the 400 IM (4:22.97) vs. Stevens Tech (11/10), 200 IM (2:05.47) vs. Springfield and 200 back (2:02.24) vs. Vassar…helped NYU to second-place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:37.42), 800 free relay (7:06.42), 400 medley relay (3:32.89), and 400 free relay (3:12.05) at the ECAC Championships (11/30-12/2)…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall Honor Roll. 2011-12: Won the 100 back (53.89) and 200 back (1:58.90) vs. Springfield (1/14)…won the 200 IM (1:59.27) and 100 back (53.36) at the NYU Tri-Meet (1/20)…captured the 200 back (1:59.61) and placed second in the 100 back (55.18) at the Wheaton Tri-Meet (11/12)…won the 200 IM (1:58.11) and came in second in the 200 back (1:57.38) against USMMA (1/27)…won the 100 back (53.55) and placed second in the 200 breast (2:18.29) vs. Vassar (1/28)…achieved a career-best time in the 100 back (51.39) at the UAA Championships (2/15-18)...Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Spring Honor Roll…CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American. 2010-11: Placed third in the 200 back (then-NYU-record 1:53.80) at the UAA Championships (2/16-19)…finished fourth in the 100 back (season-best 52.04) and recorded a career-best time in the 200 IM (1:56.62) at that meet…won the 100 back (54.29), 200 back (1:59.91) and 200 IM (1:59.67) at the NYU Tri-Meet (11/13)…won the 100 back (54.44) and 200 breast (2:16.56) vs. Vassar (1/29)…won the 200 back (1:58.08) and 200 IM (2:01.34), and placed third in the 100 back (55.23) vs. Springfield (1/15)…won the 200 back (1:59.28), placed second in the 200 IM (2:01.27) and finished third in the 100 back (55.17) at the Rochester Invitational (10/29-30). High School: Four-year team member…served as captain his senior year…Monmouth County champion as a junior and senior and Shore Conference champion as a senior…helped lead his team to the division championship his junior season…volunteered at the Bayshore Community Hospital and Red Bank YMCA…earned Honors with Distinction all four years…Edward J. Bloustein Scholar…AT&T Scholarship recipient…also swam for the Red Bank YMCA team and set the squad’s record in the 200 back. Personal: Minoring in mathematics and computer science…chose NYU for its “academics, sports and diversity”…enjoys comic books and movies.
