Biography
2012-13: Compiled a 4-16 epee record…earned two victories against Stevens Tech (11/29)…also posted wins vs. Drew (11/29) and Vassar (12/1)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic. 2011-12: Compiled a career-high 19 wins (19-32) in epee…went 3-0 against Wayne State at the NYU Invitational (1/22) and 2-0 against Drew (11/10)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree. 2010-11: Compiled a 17-32 epee record…recorded a 9-9 mark at the Sacred Heart Invitational (12/5)...won his first collegiate bout against Stevens Tech (11/9)… captured 39th place in junior men’s epee at the North American Cup in Dallas, TX (1/14-17). High School: Competed for Salle Pouj and 15th Touch Fencing, as Antonian College Prep did not have a team…captained both squads…finished second in the 2009 Southwest Section Circuit Cup in Houston…also took second at the Ken Hogan Memorial in 2008…posted several top-three finishes in open tournaments…also spent two seasons on the bowling team…volunteered as an assistant coach at Salle Pouj Fencing Camp…National Merit Commended Scholar…National Hispanic Scholar…National Honor Society member.
