2010-11: Served as team co-captain…Placed fifth in the 200 IM (NCAA provisional-qualifying and career-best 1:54.31) and the 200 breast (2:07.28), and sixth in the 400 IM (4:09.21) at the UAA Championships (2/16-19)…notched season-best times in the 200 breast (2:06.88) and the 400 IM (4:05.06) during preliminary heats rounds of that meet…recorded 10 victories during the season…won the 200 breast (2:15.69) and took third in the 100 breast (1:02.46) at the NYU Invitational (10/22-23)…victorious in the 100 breast (1:01.65), the 200 breast (2:13.45), the 400 IM (4:22.78), and the 1,650 free (17:12.60) at the Rochester Invitational (10/29-30)…won the 400 IM (4:08.62) and took second in the 100 breast (career-best 1:00.28), the 200 breast (2:08.82) and the 200 IM (1:57.11) at the MIT Invitational (12/3-4)…won the 100 breast (1:02.17) and the 500 free (4:58.82) vs. Springfield (1/15)…won the 200 fly (2:02.34) and the 500 free (5:09.82) vs. Vassar (1/29)…took second in the 100 free (50.29) and the 500 free (season-best 4:53.48) and third in the 100 breast (1:01.81) vs. TCNJ…placed third in the 100 breast (1:01.99) and the 200 breast (2:16.47) at the NYU Tri-Team Meet (11/13)…UAA Athlete of the Week (10/25)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic...Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Roll. 2009-10: Earned Second Team All-UAA honors and broke the 22-year-old school record in the 200 breast (NCAA provisional-qualifying 2:06.76) at the UAA Championships (2/17-20)…received Third Team All-UAA honors as part of the 200 free relay team (1:25.37)…recorded season-best times in the 200 IM (1:54.44) and 400 IM (NCAA provisional-qualifying 4:04.86) at the UAA’s, finishing fifth in both events…produced 39 top-three finishes for the Violets, including 21 victories…posted a Palladium-record time in the 200 IM (1:56.83) at the NYU Last Chance Invitational (2/27)…won the 100 breast (1:01.03), 200 breast (2:13.40), 200 free relay (1:27.99), 400 free relay (3:15.67), and 800 free relay (7:20.68) at the Rochester Invitational (10/30-31)…claimed victories in the 100 breast (1:00.59), 200 breast (2:13.25), 100 fly (54.02), and 400 free relay (3:20.25) vs. Rowan (11/7)…took the top spot in the 200 breast (2:11.70), 400 free relay (3:16.40) and 1,000 free (career-best 9:56.28) at Swarthmore (11/21)…grabbed first place in the 200 IM (2:01.51), 500 free (personal-best 4:52.67) and 1,000 free (10:03.96) vs. Springfield (1/16)…swam a season-best time in the 100 breast (1:00.63) at the MIT Invitational (12/4)…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Roll…CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree. 2008-09: Earned Third Team All-UAA honors in the 200 free relay (season-best time of 1:24.12) at the UAA Championships (2/14)…placed sixth in the 200 breast (2:07.78) at that meet…won the 100 breast (1:03.97) and placed second in the 200 IM (2:05.18) at the NYU Invitational (10/18)…finished second in the 400 medley relay (3:33.12), third in the 200 medley relay (1:38.15) and 400 IM (4:19.85), and fourth in the 200 breast (2:15.10) at the MIT Invitational (12/6)…CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American. High School: Four-year team memberserved as captain as a senior…won the county championship in the 200 IM and the district championship in the 100 breast that season…captured the regional and district championship in the 100 breast during his junior campaign…qualified for the state championships in his sophomore, junior and senior years…won team MVP during his sophomore, junior and senior years…helped his team win the district championship as a junior…also swam with the Jupiter Dragons club team…won the International Baccalaureate Student of the Year award as a sophomore…AP Scholar with Distinction as a senior…served as president of the Hispanic Honor Society as a senior…member of the National Honor Society.
