2010-11: Totaled a 44-25 sabre record…tallied the most wins on the sabre team and the second most among all fencers…compiled a 10-7 record at the Sacred Heart Invitational (12/5)…won eight of 14 matches at the NYU Invitational (1/22)…went 11-6 at the MIT Invitational (2/6)…earned a bronze medal in sabre at the U.S. Collegiate Fencing Squad Championships (2/27)…named UAA Athlete of the Week (11/8)…placed 48th in senior women’s sabre at the North American Cup in Dallas, TX (1/14-17)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree...Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall Honor Roll. 2009-10: Compiled a 35-34 sabre record…placed second on the team in sabre victories…finished 26^th in sabre at the NCAA Northeast Regionals (3/14). 2008-09: Qualified for the NCAA Championships and finished 21^st nationally in sabre...two-time UAA Athlete of the Week (2/2, 2/16)…led the team in victories, posting a 37-24 sabre record. High School: Six-year team member…served as captain as a junior and senior…finished 11^th at the Junior Olympics…placed 39^th in Division III at the U.S. Fencing National Championships and 46^th in Division II…First Team All-County honoree three times…helped her team win the county championship as a freshman…won the Fencer’s Fencer award…also competed in softball, basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse…served as captain of the softball team as a senior…volunteered with MS Walk, Breast Cancer Walk, Light the Night Walk, Make a Wish Foundation, and Book Buddies…member of the Teen Advisory Council…High Honor Roll student…member of the National, Foreign Language and Tri-M honor societies. Personal: Received the Steinhardt Scholarship and the New York Lotto Scholarship…member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Move-In Crew and International Student Volunteers…enjoys listening to music, as well as going to the movies and Broadway shows…performed for four years in an all-women’s a capella group and was the vocal percussionist for one of those years…plans to attend graduate school and become a high school teacher.
