Biography
2017-18: Competed in the 400m and 800m events for the Violet track team…finished 16th in the 800m (outdoor season-best 2:31.50) at the UAA Championships (4/28-29)…was a member of the seventh-place DMR foursome (10:08.69) at the UAAs…ran a career-best 400m time of 1:07.36 at the Ramapo Invitational (3/30-31)…IAAC Spring Honor Roll…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic…ECAC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17: Began the season by taking 22nd place in the Purple Valley Cross Country Classic (9/24), clocking a time of 23:14.90 in the 5K event…ran an indoor season-best 800m (2:22.65) at the UAA Indoor Championships (2/25-26)…produced an outdoor season-best 800m (2:33.91) at the UAA Outdoor Championships (4/22-23).
2015-16: Ran a season best in the indoor 800m (2:16.69) at the NYC Metro Championships (2/5)…had her best outdoor performance in the 800m (2:23.06) at the Greyhound Invitational (4/16).
High School: Four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams…senior track & field captain…selected MVP for both cross country and track.
Personal: Enjoys dance, reading and history…volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Green Umbrella…intends to pursue a career in journalism.
