The tournament is hosted by Medgar Evers College at the Cougars Cave in Brooklyn, NY.

Saturday's win is the Violets' 68th consecutive victory, matching Amherst College (2016-18) for the second-longest win streak in Division III women's basketball history. The 68-game streak is the sixth-longest across all three divisions of the NCAA.

Caroline Peper led all players with a game-high 20 points and 4-10 shooting from three-point range. Junior Yasmene Clark secured her first career double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

The Violets scored 10 of the first 12 points of the game and led 32-13 after the first quarter thanks to a 12-point scoring run.

NYU finished the first half leading 65-26 after scoring the final 13 points of the second quarter.

Peper scored all of her points in the first half.

Batchelor finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, and four assists.

Zahra Alexander and Josie Munson each added 10 points.

The Violets have scored more than 100 points in all but one game this season. The team leads the nation, averaging 110.3 points per game.

NYU will face the United States Merchant Marine Academy for the Dr. Shabazz Tournament Championship on Sunday. Tip-off in the Cougars Cave is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
