Honoring its seven seniors on Senior Day, the
#19-ranked New York University werstling team hosted the NY/PA Duals and swept its three match-ups on Saturday, January 18, at the John A. Paulson Center in Manhattan.

Jack Garcia,
Nick Kruczynski,
Danny Lightfoot,
Cooper Pontelandolfo, and
Jack Reusing, as well as their families, all took part in a pre-match Senior Day ceremony.
The Violets opened the night against Wilkes University and defeated the Colonels 31-18.
Harrison Gordon,
Tyler Kadish, and
Nicky Bell all recorded pins in their respective bouts, with Bell needing less than a minute to defeat his opponent. Pontelandolfo and
Trent Furman each registered tech falls.
In the night's second dual, NYU dominated Keystone College 55-0. The Violets claimed five of the bouts by forfeit and won three bouts by pin.
Kruczynski, Aidin Bina and Mark Dickey each collected falls. Additionally, Evan Anderson posted a major decision.
Closing out the competition against Penn College, NYU downed the Wildcats 36-14.
Vincenzo Napolitana highlighted the results with a pin in 20 seconds. Jacob Venezia, Kadish, and Pontelandolfo also pinned their respective opponents. Gordon, Furman, and Bell all recorded bonus points in their bouts.
On the night, the Violets totaled 10 pins and earned bonus points in 21 bouts.
NYU next returns to the mat on Saturday, January 25, with a dual against The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ, beginning at 1:00pm.
