New York University's softball team celebrated Senior Day and completed its University Athletic Association (UAA) schedule on Sunday, April 28, falling to Brandeis University 9-1 at the College of Staten Island.

Emily Stone prior to the game.
NYU opened the scoring in the bottom of the first, as
Emma Aridi led off with a single and Lesser's sac bunt moved her to second. Baron followed with a single through the left side to give the Violets a 1-0 lead after the opening frame.
The Judges responded with a five-run second inning and kept NYU scoreless the rest of the way to take the win. Kramsky pitched 3.1 innings of relief, including a one-two-three fourth.
Aridi, Lesser, Baron, Hand and
Alexa Very each recorded a hit while Hand's double was one of two extra base hits for either team on the day.
NYU concludes the 2024 campaign on Thursday, May 2, with a doubleheader against Hunter College beginning at 4:00pm at the College of Staten Island.
