The New York University men's soccer team fell 1-0 to host Brandeis University in the final game of the season on Saturday, November 9, in Waltham, MA.
The Violets out-shot their University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents 16-13, but could not find the back of the net.
The game's only score came at 62:06 when the Judges' Kaden Collins managed to skip the ball into the lower left corner of the net on an assist from Rainer Osselmann-Chai.
That was the only goal allowed by NYU keeper
Jackson McCloskey, who recorded four saves.
Brandeis' Quintin Wrabley made five saves in recording the shutout.
Ben Trask totaled a team-high four shots for the Violets.
NYU ends the 2024 campaign with a 6-6-3 overall record and 1-5-1 in the UAA. Brandeis is now 9-5-2, 5-2-0.
