NYU scored a run in the top of the first inning on an RBI single from Ashley Mains and increased the lead to 3-0 in the second on a two-run home run off the bat of Morgan Clemens.

RBIs from Mary Tindall and Courtney Friday in the third inning made the advantage 5-0 before a run-scoring single courtesy of Kymber Yamamoto in the in fifth inning put the visitors ahead 6-0.

A pair of unearned runs from the Scarlet Raiders in the seventh made the final score 6-2.

Karissa Zubulake started on the mound for NYU and went the distance, scattering 10 hits and not allowing an earned run to improve to 7-3 on the season.
