WIth one out and runners on the corners in the bottom of the first, Kahala Bonsignore flied out to left to score Colby Tarsitano for the Violets' first run of the day. Then, with two outs and a runner on second in NYU's half of the third, Val Schwein knocked a single through the left side to score Marisa Bella to bring the score to 6-2. Finally, in th bottom of the fifth with two outs and runners on first and second, Sage Scheiwiller singled down the third-base line to score Schwein.

With the conclusion of UAA play, the Violets will return to the field for their first-ever home game on Saturday, March 21. NYU will play its home games at Bahoshy Field on the campus of Fordham University in the Bronx.
