The New York University women's volleyball team split matches on day two of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robin #2 on Sunday, October 18, in Cleveland, OH.
NYU (11-13) began with a 3-0 loss (25-13, 25-21, 25-15) to Emory University (25-2).
The Violets' second match was a 3-1 victory (25-27, 25-17, 25-11, 25-20) over Brandeis University (3-19).
Shelby King contributed to the win over the Judges, totalling 17 kills and 11 digs.
"I was pleased with the way the team was able to come back from the loss this morning and do what they needed to do to win against Brandeis," said Head Coach
Jolie Ward.
