The New York University women's volleyball team lost both matches on day one of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robin #2 on Saturday, October 17, in Cleveland, OH.
The Violets (10-12) were defeated by host Case Western Reserve University (19-4) in three sets (25-21, 25-23, 25-14).
Stephanie Mao exhibited strong defense throughout the match, totalling a career-high 14 digs.
NYU's second match was a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-21) loss to Carnegie Mellon University (20-4).
