NYU 1 CWRU 0 (2OT)The New York University women's soccer team defeated Case Western Reserve University 1-0 in double-overtime on Saturday afternoon, October 11, in Cleveland, OH.
The Violets (9-3-0, 2-0-0 University Athletic Association) earned the victory in a game that was back and forth for all 107-plus minutes. NYU now has two UAA wins this season, both coming from 1-0 results in double-overtime.
Cami Crawford played hero for the Violets on Saturday, scoring the game-winner in the 108th minute, It was her sixth of the season and gave NYU its seventh-straight victory.

Cassie Steinberg stopped three shots to improve to 9-3 on the season. The shutout was her sixth of the season, her fourth straight and fifth in the last six games.
- NYU outshot the Spartans (7-3-2, 0-2 UAA) 10-8 overall, including 4-3 in shots on net.

Lexi Clarke attempted a game-high three shots, landing one on net for the Violets. In addition, she registered to helper on Crawford's goal.

Olivia Braender-Carr and
Julie Glover also landed shots on the net for NYU.
