The New York University women's volleyball team extended its win streak to five with a victory over inter-city rival Baruch College on Thursday, September 12. NYU defeated Baruch in three sets by a score of 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.
The team led the entire way and never had their lead seriously threatened. Head Coach
Jolie Ward was able to play 15 Violets in the match.

"Thanks to consistent play from our starters, today's match was a great opportunity for me to allow other players to see more time than they normally would," said Ward.
The Violets return to action next weekend at the NYU Violet Classic. NYU kicks off the tournament against Rochester Institute of Technology on Friday, September 20. First serve is set for 10:00 am.
