The New York University women's soccer team extended its winning streak to four in another high-scoring affair, defeating the College of Staten Island 10-3 on Tuesday, September 25, in Staten Island, NY.

Melissa Menta and
Erin Ahmed had two goals apiece to lead the Violets (6-2) in their final non-conference tune-up before beginning University Athletic Association (UAA) play on Saturday.
Highlights
- After the Dolphins (5-3) went up 1-0 on a goal 2:47 into the game, NYU needed just 11 seconds to tie things back up, as Menta beat two defenders on the way to her first goal.

Amelia Hammerl, Ahmed and
Imani Ribadeneyra then netted three goals in a seven-minute span midway through the first half to make it 4-1, with Ahmed's tally coming on a penalty kick.
- Samantha Wysokowski scored her second goal of the game for Staten Island to cut the deficit to 4-2, but
Natalie Beach put the Violets back up three before half off a corner from
Sophia Barnhart.
- Though Wysokowski would net her third goal early in the second half, NYU added tallies from Crawford, Ahmed, Crawford again,
Claire Shanahan, and Menta to bring the final margin to 10-3.
- The Violets' 10 goals scored tied for the third-most in a game in school history and were one off the school record.
