The New York University women's volleyball team traveled to Galloway, NJ, to compete in two matches on Saturday, October 20. NYU went 1-1 on the day, advancing its overall record to 14-12.
In its first match, NYU lost a tough four-setter to host Richard Stockton College (24-5) by a score of 25-17, 15-25, 25-14, 25-23. The Violets were almost able to bring the match to a decisive fifth set, but came up just short in the fourth.
NYU had better fortune in the second match of the day, defeating Cabrini College (15-7) in four sets by a score of 25-19, 27-25, 20-25, 25-18. The win ended a string of five straight losses for the Violets and kept them above .500 for the season.

- Bogle controlled the tempo of the match with 28 assists.
The Violets' next match is on Wednesday, October 24, on the road against city rival Baruch College. First serve is set for 7:00 pm.
