NYU's grapplers are currently 2-3 on the season, but are coming off one of their best team performances at the Ted Reese Invitational on December 3. NYU placed second out of 11 teams and benefited from three individual titles by
Janik Santana-Quintana (125),
David Rice (165) and
Gregg Martino (174). Rice was also named Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament and University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week. He is currently ranked #8 in Division III at 165 by both d3wrestle.com and the NWCA.
Stevens is coming off a close 19-17 victory over Hunter College, who NYU came up just short against earlier this season on November 22.
When the grapplers travel to Stevens it is sure to be a tightly contested dual as NYU looks to get back to .500 on the year.
