The New York University women's volleyball team won one of its three matches over the weekend at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robin #1, which was held at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, on Saturday.and Sunday, October 1-2.

On Sunday, the Violets (13-8, 1-2 UAA) lost to the undefeated and #2 nationally ranked Washington Bears in three sets: 2516, 25-13, 25-12. Washington is currently 17-0, 3-0 in the UAA and have not dropped a set this season.

Hope Bogle had 15 set assists and 11 digs for the Violets, while Kaylee Schanda added 15 digs. Sarah Buckingham also had double-digit digs (11), while Allie Williams contributed four kills.

Buckingham led the Violets with 12 kills in the win over Brandeis. The Violets hit .212 as a team and had nine service aces in the victory. Bogle recorded 33 assists and nine digs, while Schanda had 14 digs.
