The NYU wrestling team will be in Chicago this weekend to take part in the University Athletic Association Championships, where it will compete against the University of Chicago and Case Western Reserve University.

Though only three UAA schools sponsor varsity wrestling programs, the competition will still be fierce as these teams remain rivals.

At last season's UAA Championships, NYU defeated Chicago 21-13, but fell short against Case Western Reserve, 34-15.

While NYU did not take home the team championship, Matt Magill was named the UAA Most Outstanding Wrestler. Joining Magill on the All-UAA team was Kyle Christensen. With that experience in tow, Magill and Christensen hope to lead NYU to the team title this season.

The UAA Championships kick off at 12 noon on Saturday.
