The New York University women's soccer team will attempt to score its first-ever victory over Emory University when the University Athletic Association rivals take the pitch in Atlanta on Friday night at 7:30 p.m.  Emory will provide live stats and a video webcast.

NYU (8-4-0, 0-2-0 UAA) is 0-9-5 all time against the Eagles (4-2-4, 0-1-1 UAA).  Both teams are looking to shake off one-goal losses last weekend: the Violets dropped a 1-0 home decision to Case Western Reserve University, while Emory fell by a 2-1 score to a University of Chicago side ranked #6 in the D3Soccer.com Top 25.

On the Violets' last trip to Atlanta two years ago, they forged a 0-0 draw with Emory.  Several of the current Violets were freshmen on that 2007 squad.
