Sophomore Emily Jenkinson enjoyed a career game, tallying two goals and an assist as the New York University women's soccer team overcame Centenary College, 4-0, for its fourth straight victory Sunday afternoon in Hackettstown, NJ.

The Violets (4-2-0) got their first two scores off corner kicks, and Jenkinson factored into both.  After her corner kick set up sophomore Filiz Kipcakli's third goal at 15:27, the sophomore deposited a corner struck by junior Lucy Dolly Caires at 20:29 to give NYU a 2-0 lead going into halftime.

After senior Sarah Pillemer produced her fourth goal at 46:18, completing a run after a set-up by sophomore Rebecca Assing, Jenkinson closed out the scoring by booming a free kick from 25 yards out at 79:59.  Jenkinson now has three goals this season.

Meanwhile, sophomore Alex Walters improved to 4-1-0 with her second shutout in three matches, making two saves to help the Violets preserve their third straight clean sheet.  Walters also combined on a shutout in Friday's 7-0 triumph over the College of Staten Island.

Overall, NYU dominated the shot (20-7) and corner kick (8-1) categories.

Ashley Denti put aside eight shots for Centenary (1-4-1).

NYU returns to action Friday, Sept. 19, for a 4 p.m. non-conference clash at Vassar College.
