Women's Volleyball Falls to Juniata in Three

The New York University women's volleyball team fell to top-ranked Juniata College in straight sets at the Wid Guisler Invitational at Juniata on Saturday, Oct. 25, in Huntingdon, PA.

The Violets (18-12) held the match close early.  However, a 11-0 run by the Eagles (25-3) sealed the set, 25-10.

The second and third sets did not fare better for the Violets as the team fell 25-16, 25-8.

On offense, sophomore Erin Noonan recorded four kills, while freshman Kolby Warren and senior captain Stacy Goto each recorded three.

Freshman Britney Messier continued her strong play on defense, recording a team-high 13 digs.

The Violets return to the court at 3:00 pm when they face Washington and Lee University for their final match of the weekend.
