GUIDELINES FOR POLY STUDENTS USING NYU’S ATHLETIC FACILITIES
Regrettably, students who attend the Polytechnic Institute of NYU do not have access to the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center or the Palladium Athletic Facility other than to attend varsity and club athletic contests (unless they are registered for NYU classes in a degree granting program or are signed in as a paying guest of an NYU Coles/Palladium member).
While it is our expectation that these regulations will change, the above policies are currently in effect.
Poly students are only eligible to play on Poly’s varsity, club or intramural teams, while NYU students are only eligible to play on NYU’s varsity, club or intramural teams.
New York University and Polytechnic University are moving slowly on this affiliation and they have no interest in our athletic departments taking a leading role at this time.
It is our hope and expectation that the athletics departments of NYU and Poly will remain distinct and independent for years to come.
